Saarika is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is committed to providing quality mental health services to clients and their families. Since 2012, she has worked in private clinics, schools, public healthcare agencies, and acute settings where she has provided individual and group mental health services to youth, adults, and families. Trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing, Saarika incorporates a wide array of effective strategies into therapy to best serve her clients. She is experienced in working with adults, older adults, children, and adolescents. Direct, professional, and empathetic, Saarika is a competent and helpful therapist dedicated to the progress of her clients. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and South Asian Studies in 2010 from Rutgers University and thereafter, her M.S. in Social Work from the University of Southern California.
